Not sure if any of you have heard about this one. Apparently, a while back, there were two border patrol agents that caught a Mexican citizen trying to smuggle 725 pounds of marijuana into the country. The guy decided to run, so the agents shot at him, hitting him in the butt. Not only are the two border patrol agents in jail serving 11 and 12 year terms, but the drug smuggler has been granted amnesty and is suing the US Government for 5 million dollars.

You didn't mention that they tried to cover it up. I think the 5 million dollar lawsuit is a little ridiculous, but it's not like these guys were thrown in jail without a trial. If this rankles you, fix the justice system.
The pro-immigration MSM has it all backwards. They've gleaned over the most important facet of this story: If a bullet enters a man's behind, which way is the person facing the gun he is being shot with? I say if they are in our country illegally, they waive the right not to be shot in the back! This is an essential tool in our border guards limited tool box. When those perps get back to mexico, they can show their new tattoo to others thinking about crossing as a warning to what's in store for them.

"Richard Skinner admitted yesterday under oath that his top deputies gave Members of Congress false information painting Border Patrol Agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean as rogue cops who were not in fear for their lives and who were “out to shoot Mexicans.”"
"I asked Inspector General Richard Skinner, 'Where are those statement and are they true? These statements that were made by your investigators, sir, are they true?'"
"And he said under oath, 'I'm sorry, Congressman, we misled you. Those statements were not true.'"
Oh, good, so it's the DHS inspector general and his deputies that are fabricating evidence to put their agents in jail.
This is better how?
It's not better. It's not better at all. The point is, DHS is not only messing up royally by not protecting our borders, but they are lying about their own agents in order to give amnesty to an illegal immigrant trying to get 725 pounds of pot into this country. Not only that, but one of the agents that got thrown in jail (who was supposed to be protected) was beaten quite severely because the inmates found out he was a border patrol agent.
So, better? No. It's an injustice.
